Things are going quite well so far. One of the things we are working on is knowing when to talk and when not to talk. Getting better but still working on this.
Math: We are starting ch.4 multiplying decimals Our class average for our basic facts stayed the same as last week at 29 . Ask your student about their average.
Reading: reading notes are due on Monday. We have had a good discussion of the 24 book challenge in class. The first book of the second quarter is due on the 25th of October.
Science:Mr. Thatcher will be coming to our room to teach matter.
Social studies: Students will be working out of a book titled America’s Story. They will have approximately 2 lessons per week. Most of this could be done in school. If not it will be sent home.
First quarter grades will come next Friday. Whats past is past lets do better this quarter.
We had a good field trip!

We are also going to a STEAM festival in Cedar on the 17th of October. We will leave at 8:00 and return before lunch. No special items needed for this trip.

**Red Ribbon Week will start just after the Harvest Holiday. There will be one dress up day on Wednesday, Oct. 25. It's "Crazy Everything" day, and you can wear your pajamas, your crazy hair, your mismatched socks, or you clothes inside-out!
